Bear Paddle specializes in year round swim lessons for children of all abilities and ages. Offering simple online registration, engaging swim lessons, and a committed team make the Bear Paddle experience one-of-a-kind. The warm saltwater pool and sophisticated pool sanitation system supply the Bear Paddle swimmers with a comfortable and clean swimming environment. Bear Paddle’s iron-on skill patches teach the swimmers positive reinforcement in a fun and innovative way!
Bear Paddle Bloomingdale is located at S. Gary Ave. and Army Trail Rd. near the Stratford Square Mall. We are serving the community of Bloomingdale, Roselle, Schaumberg, Wheaton, Glendale Heights, Wood Dale, Elk Grove Village, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Villa Park, Addison, Bartlett, Streamwood, and surrounding!

Bear Paddle Swim School is a month-to-month year round swim school offering 30-minute swim lessons seven days a week. We make swimming a convenient and consistent part of your student’s routine. It’s easy to enroll! Pick a day and time that works best for your family and that is your reserved time until your student moves up a level, your schedule changes, or you need to take a break. What has been your favorite swimming experience?
My favorite swim experience would probably have to be when I was younger participating in guard games, It’s like the Lifeguard Olympics, but they also had fun swimming events.
What was a great teaching moment in your career?
Anytime that I a student graduates is a great teaching moment for me! Knowing that they are learning what you are teaching is a great feeling.
Who was your favorite swim figure / hero growing up?
Why do you choose a career in aquatics over others?
I started in aquatics because I wanted a job where I could help people.
Why do you like working at Bear Paddle?
I like working at Bear Paddle because my team loves what they do, and I know that we are teaching the kids a life saving skill.

Getting to see the kids coming in and leaving with smiles on their faces because they love swimming!
