Swimming Lesson FAQs
Is it safe to swim at Bear Paddle?
Yes, we ensure that you and your child are safe during each session. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued guidance that it’s safe to swim since the virus cannot spread properly in chlorinated pool water. Above the water, we make sure to enforce physical distancing and healthy and safety measures that exceed the CDC’s health standards
How does Bear Paddle maintain each location’s cleanliness?
Our Maintenance and cleaning team regularly disinfects each location, including but not limited to door handles, tables, floors, benches, sinks, fixtures, toilets, and diaper changing stations. Besides, our caretakers clean the shower stalls and changing stations after each use. We also provide hand sanitizer for all of our students. Moreover, the chlorinated water and ultraviolet filtration system offer complete protection for our customers and employees.
How many people does Bear Paddle allow inside each location?
We implement a new scheduling system to ensure that no more than 50 people are inside the Bear Paddle location at any given time.
How do you maintain the swimming pools’ cleanliness?
Here at Bear Paddle, we test the pool’s water chemistry before, during, and after every 30-minute class to comply with CDC’s health guidelines. We also use ultraviolet light on our chlorinated water to eliminate 99.99% of disease-causing germs, bacteria, and viruses. Most pools in our locations use Defender Filtration systems powered with Diatomaceous Earth (DE) media. This way, we can remove microscopic particles up to one micron. To help you understand this better, red blood cells measure 5 microns; hence, our sanitation technique offers a safe swimming experience for everyone.
