Paddle’s Preservers For Kids: Life Jacket Drive
Has your swimmer outgrown their life jacket? Help prevent drowning by donating new or gently used life jackets. Bear Paddle will be hosting a United States Coast Guard approved life jacket drive during the month of May. Please bring life jackets to the Front Desk from Tuesday, May 1 to Wednesday, May 30.
Life Jacket Requirements:
- USCG approved, label is on the life jacket and is legible and clear
- All zippers, buckles, straps and other fasteners are intact and work properly
- There are no rips, tears, or mold on the life jacket
- The life jacket floatation foam is not damaged and the life jacket will float if placed in water
