We want to help you enjoy the holiday season, and find ways to make swimming fit with your family’s adjusting schedule. Our Holiday Survival Guide is designed to give you fun, family activities while giving you a chance to win a free month of swim lessons for doing the things already included in your swim package!
How it Works:
Visit the Front Desk and pick up your holiday survival guide! The survival guide will run November 1, 2024 to January 6, 2025.
Inside you’ll find different tasks to complete which will be eligible for an entry into a free month of swim lessons.
After you complete the prize-eligible items, visit the front desk and they’ll submit your entry into prizes.
Attend all your lessons in November or December
Make-up lessons count towards your attendance! Pick a month and set your goal to come to every lesson. Once completed, visit the Front Desk to get entered into prizes. If you attend all your lessons in November and December, each month will be entered into the prize drawing!
Attend a Monthly Private Lesson
Sign up here! Each Monthly Private Lesson you attend will be eligible for an entry into prizes.
Come to Family Swim
Sign up here! Each time you come to Family Swim will be an entry into the prize drawing. NEW this year is the ability to bring a friend and/or family member!
Catch Up On Make-Up Lessons
Each make-up lesson from your account that you complete between November 1 and January 5 will count towards a prize entry.
Refer a Friend
Each swimmer that you refer to Bear Paddle counts towards a prize entry! You will also get the reward of having your referral bonus credit added to your account in the amount of $70 per referral.
Drop-In Classes
NEW this winter is the ability to add drop-in classes during your Winter Break! Registration for drop in classes will open on December 14. Each drop-in class you attend is eligible for an entry into the prize drawing.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded at each location. Each location will give five winners a free month of swim lessons!
Each prize-eligible item completed from the holiday survival guide will be entered into the prize drawing. Entries will be accepted through January 5, 2025.
- One month of swim lessons. Includes a credit on your account for 4 lessons. Must be actively swimming to win. Free month of lessons will be applied to February 2025 billing cycle.

FAQs
How am I eligible for prizes?
There are six prize-eligible tasks to complete. Each item completed is an entry into the prize drawing. You can view all sweepstakes entry rules here.
Can I redeem cash instead?
No. Prizes will not be given in the form of cash. All prizes will be awarded in the form of a credit to your account.
How do I know if I won a free month of swim lesson?
We will contact you between January 7 and 10, 2025. You will have 48 hours to respond to that email to confirm your prize.
What are my chances of winning?
We can’t say for sure but we think pretty good! Every Bear Paddle location will be giving five families one month of swim lessons. The more prize-eligible items from your survival guide that you complete, the more entries you have into the prize drawing.
What are the dates to complete prize-eligible items?
November 1, 2024 – January 5, 2025
Are each of my children able to participate?
Yes! As long as each child is completing each item, they are eligible for prizes.
